TX5S was fun but initially I had no idea there was a competition! I just decided to try to work them on all bands and modes. It wasn’t until Budi YE1AR informed me that I realized that people were competing. I like to compete and it did make it much more fun! I think the key is to be on the air on the bands and modes the DXpedition is on!
