You can’t find the DX if you’re not listening…get on the air and listen, transmit when you find the DX. Sometimes DX will answer your CQ, but most of the time they are busy answering calls from other hams. If using FT8 (WSJT-X) , leave “CQ only” unchecked and watch the right column of calls in the “Band Activity” window.
